Why can't you see?
Too much pressure isn't good,
since your depending on me.
Maybe I'm misunderstood,
you really expect me to save humanity?
What makes you think I would?
Your driving me to the point of insanity.
I'm only one soldier,
can't you leave me alone?
I'll try the best I can,
but I'll never be unknown.
Would I still feel this way,
if my brethren were still alive?
I have much to say,
but this is all such a strive.
Still I won't betray,
because I want to survive.
You won't have to worry,
I will save mankind.
Just don't make me hurry,
remember that I am refined.
If I ever get shot and rushed to a hospital bed,
I will make sure that I stay existing,
you'll soon realize that I won't be dead.
I'm the only one who can keep the human race persisting.
My name is John,
I've been raised as a fighter,
but maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe my future is brighter,
but I will stay strong.
