A poem about a suicide bomber, compelled by religion to bring fire (that is, a chest-strapped hydrogen explosive, capable of taking out anything within a 2-km perimeter)upon the 'demons' (Covenant)
The demons are upon us; sweeping our soldiers aside like wheat and rye; with their scythes
The days are upon us; the judgement is at hand the testing has begun; held in the eyes of God
Women may weep, cry; misery and pity engulfing one's mortal heart; green with sorrow
But the day is upon us; us the misguided children of God; to defend what is right, sacred
Forsake not the duty; that has fallen upon your soul spirit arises to meet; the oaths that one has taken
Rise, men, meet the demons of the void; rise, men with fire cleanse the world; bring death upon the shades
Rise, men, rise, forsake your mortal self; stilt your fears, heaven awaits; for with sacrifice comes immortality.
Hold the weapon close to your heart; take care let the demons take you; bring fire when the time is at hand.
