the capitol of texas is austin, not houston. being a Texan, i consider such mistakes a very important issue. also, john wayne's "the alamo" is the most historically inaccurate film ever made. if you want the real story, read "13 Days to Glory" aka "The Alamo" (outside of Texas) by Lon Tinkle. 183 men holding off 5000 for 13 days and killing 1000 in the last seige... crockett's body found beneath twenty mexicans, one with his knife in his back. bowie's doorway clogged with bodies. bodies everywhere. the greatest battle since Thermopylae. Remember the Alamo!

8.5/10 I like it but I have a few complaints. First a paragraph caught my eye.... About twenty Longsword fighters came and shattered the Covenant escape ships. The battle for the capital of Texas was won. The capital was in ruins. More than five thousand Marines have been lost. We set up a big base and regrouped. General Weinfield came down and congratulated the Marines on their great success.
First in my opinion it would be almost inpossible for 20 longswords to join the battle when they would be MUCH needed in space to prevent more covie ships from landing. I would understand in 3 or 5 where assiting.
And instead of saying the capitol of teaxas why not say Houston. Sure maybe in the future the capitol of texas may change. We all know how many times our national has changed over the years. From New Your to Phillidelppia to finaly setteling in DC.
And in that one paragraph you talked about SIX different things! 1.About twenty Longsword fighters came and shattered the Covenant escape ships. 2.The battle for the capital of Texas was won. 3.The capital was in ruins. 4.More than five thousand Marines have been lost. 5.We set up a big base and regrouped. 6.General Weinfield came down and congratulated the Marines on their great success.
Try to think of that next time! Anyways good job!
