I like the idea of elites piloting ghosts better anyway. For some reason, I just can't see grunts overwhelming you with numerical superiority....in ghosts.

Do you mean the Grunts are probably just piloting them because they're there?

Maybe the coveneant forces are spread so thin they can no longer afford to use elites on ghosts.....

Highly unlikely. The ghosts are probably just piloting them because they're there. Notice you don't see one elite until the end of the demo.

I know the Ghosts were piloted by Grunts in the E3. But does that mean Elites can't pilot them now? I thought it would be a bit too easy if Clark just shot the pilo9t twice and the Ghost was disabled, so I put in Elites.

New stories are usually posted on Saturdays, Mondays, Wedensdays. Gives enough time for people to read and comment on them.
And refresh to see the last comment.

Yea, Mainevent, another glaring example of my not paying attenrion to detail. My D.I. would have me in the front-lean-and rest if he read this.
On another note, could anyone tell me how long it takes for a story to get posted. I put a fanfic submission in last night at around 9:43 eastern standard, and it has yet to show up.

But the Ghosts were piloted by grunts. Take a look at the E3 demo thing and youll see that.

Well actually I was gonna continue it, cause I knew a really cool ending for it. Something like:
Clark raised his battle rifle to fire, but before he could, the Brute brought it's arm down on his face.
Or something, but then decided it would be too long. So thank you all for readin.

Well, I actually liked that. It's good to see how someone thought the Warhog came to the Chief. And thank you for not trying to continue on after that. Even though it could have been good, a Marines point of view for it, but still, it would have been repetitive. Good work, I agree with Hell- and CoLd. Keep it up!
P.S. You know, I was wondering. Is there something like a "Guide for Writing Fan Fiction" or anything laying around. I think something like that should be posted, because of the apparent influx of n00bs here. Just to let them know the do-s and don't-s of the FF scene. Just a thought. *MCC dreams: "MCC's Guide to Newbs for Writing Good Halo Fan Fiction"*

Although you know, it could become a series if Clark somehow survives the Brute... Aiee! Another idea! I gotta write these down.

What, you mean Saveela's? Yeah...it's just that Saveela was the only one that ever talked.
And to Helljumper: The three of them were the first to get into the Warthog.

			Oh, and to spectre...
It doesn't need to be a series, as we already know that the driver and passenger are knocked out by the Brute. This brings me to my second problem...
There was three in the Warthog, weren't there, a driver, gunner, and passenger?

Good work, Nick, you managed to keep me entertained with this piece. You used a good amount of detail and you described the actions fluently. Awesome stuff. Especially liked the ending...
Don't know why, I like stories where it ends off with dialogue. Keep it up, Kang!

Meh, like everything else I've ever noticed, it could be better and it could be worse ;-), but it certainly has more to lose then to gain.
