that was awsome. as the others pointed out, you do a good job trying to strive for meaning and the quality of your work. i also like how you make the characters "seem" real. good job.

Yeah, I was going to point out the Ode the Mazar Rackman, too.
Great writing, great last line. Definitely a fine piece of writing in the sense of meaning vs. violence.
I'd sure like to see where this ends up. You've also done one particular thing that few other series on this site ever has. Your character development actually creates people we can feel for and care about. And now that the crowd is thinning, that's definitely the case.

Awesome, awesome, awesome.
I like how you'd rather go for meaing and quality, rather than blood and gore. I don't like excessive action. It's too easy to write, and most n00bs use it to cover up their pathetic failiures. You're doing good, though.
